Thank you. Alright, here is the deal about this forum. I do not want spam flames on this page, because it is for world development ONLY. The only other person who will be posting info on this forum will be LadyoftheForest. If i see spam or flames that have nothing to do with Death Forest these posts will be deleted and you will get in trouble for it. Questions are welcome! Please go to LadyoftheForest or myself if you have them.

Yes, allow me to introduce myself. I am Cana, the last original survivor of the forest. I have been here since before its creation, and I knew the man who turned this place into the fortress that it is. Now I rule the forests--no matter what overlord thinks he owns it.

The following is an excerpt that sums up what happens to unwanted visitors on our lands

An elf is running through a copse of trees--all high above his head, all dark and intimidating. From his panting, it seems that he has been running for quite some time. He glances over his shoulder, and a vaguely wolf-shaped shadow flits from one tree to another. Glowing eyes watch the elf coldly as he looks back once more, and stumbles over a root that was not there a minute before. He lands hard, on all fours, and the shadow moves in closer for the kill. There is barely enough time to scream, then he knows nothing more.

The things to watch out for

In Death Forest there are many creatures that you need to watch out for. One of these creatures is known as Alice. She is a WereRabbit the only WereRabbit in existence. She stands at six and half feet tall not counting her ears, which stand an additional one foot. Her fur is frost white, she has dark milk chocolate brown eyes. She is a crafty creature loud and talkative she seems to be a wonderful person but in the end her only intension is to rob you and if you are an outsider kill you.

No one knows that origin of Alice how she was born her age, or even if “Alice” is her real name. she answers to no one not even the great Cana who rules the forest. Her home is under the well of eternity she moves the well when it is discovered and is its protector. This white rabbit wears a black top hat and a black vest.

She loves to sing songs and talk to others she is over all a nice creature as long as you belong and you have no bad intentions for the forest or its inhabitance. Many of her favorite past times are floating (no one is sure how or why but she does), reading, playing cards, and being well a rabbit.

Please do not post here unless you have actual questions on what has been posted that is fine. but if it is about what we should have, what is currently going on, and or what is going on out side of this forum please refrain from asking this is not for general conversation this is for information and a replacement for the index because we are not sure how to change it at this time. once again please be mindful of these rules as they are posted above thank you....

Death Forest is indeed under attack, which is where Tory's creatures come in to play. We'll get to know them quite well in upcoming months. To find out what's happening, go to the Overlords Only Forum.

Interesting we would prefer not mainly because we have enough going on at the moment... and in the near future we may open it up for ideas but not until deaht forest gets cuaght up on everything else we probably won't. If you have a suggestion feel free to write to Victoria_ST@live.com and she should discuss it with you.

and very interesting but please this is more for information, and questions, until we have more time. sorry to be so strict

The Alka-9 a race in Death Forest

Alka-9

The Alka-9 is a race known to be civilized beasts. They are a type of canine. They usually look like wolves but can often have some differences. They can range in any color that is found in any mammal or bird. These creatures wield swords, and rely on magic to fight. Usually in an Alka-9 family or pack there are four pups but there are never more than eight. This is because Alka-9’s swords are made from their parents’ fangs. Usually the fangs come from the father, but if there are more than four pups then they come from both parents. Usually only male Alka-9 carry swords. It is not common to see a female wielding one, for the females are more powerful in magic than in the physical field.

There are a few differences between the males and females. The first is in the way the two sexes fight. A male Alka-9 will fight with a sword, and if they have not obtained a sword yet, they will fight with claw and fang, but this method is not respected and is generally regarded as being weak. The females prefer a more artful approach to fighting. This is to use magic and the elements. They also have a more exotic appearance. For instance they could have an extra tail, wings, another eye… there has not been a set limit as to what could be different in looks to the females other then they do look different.

The Alka-9 have few customs. They do wear clothing, get piercing, or get tattoos, and other typical human behaviors, but they don’t have customs that are unique to their culture. They live in small family packs, just like wolves. They need their families to survive, even more so than normal wolves. Though this is not always the case, in some instances an Alka-9 pup or pups may be raised without a family pack. When this happens, they do not usually need nor look for a family as adults. This usually makes them slightly outcast from other Alka-9s because they are more independent.

The Alka-9 wear clothing, moreso as a symbol of their status. Usually only adult males adorn clothing. This is because they already must carry a hilt on their back due to the sword. This also makes them stand out to potential mates. The types of clothing that are usually worn are generally sashes, belts, occasionally cloaks, but not usually. This is because it slows movement. In battle they will occasionally wear armor made out of bones and wood. Piercings and tattoos, these have no real symbols or reasons behind why they are done other then it is a personal preference. Piercings is done usually at a young age. Tattoos are not usually done until a later age. This is because tattoos are given to show abilities in fighting, magic, or sport.

Alka-9 speech is not fully Druid, nor is it all ‘animal’, it is a cross of both. The Alka-9 have more social manners than the average animal, but they do not have as high an ability in speech and other functions as an Elf or other humanoid creature on Druidawn does. This can be altered because like humans, the Alka-9 can be taught. Therefore, the elders of the Alka-9 races usually can speak full druid, and full animal…

The Alka-9 do not war with the Were. In fact the Alka-9 consider the Were as piece keepers.

As well the Alka-9 can not shift they only have their wolf forms...

The Alka-9 live all over Death Forest they do not stay in one territory though they try not to roam the territories of the Were creatures....
