Druidawn Summer 2026 Online Workshop Schedule

​These ONLINE workshops will be hosted in Zoom and will include several breaks so kids can get up and run around in between activities. Students can arrive up to 60 minutes late if the workshops are too long for them. Also, age requirements are flexible, especially in the case of siblings who want to be together.

​

Minimum 4 students, maximum 12 students per session. Morning and afternoon groups might be merged if we don’t get at least 4 sign-ups per workshop.​

​

You can get a full refund of your payment if it turns out you need to cancel your workshop reservation by May 1st, 2024.  After May 1st, half refunds will be issued up until a week before your workshop begins.  After that point, there are no refunds for cancellations or missed workshop days.

DRAGONS AND MYSTIC CREATURES

Write and read stories and create works of art involving dragons and other mystical creatures. Design new mystic creatures to add to the world of Druidawn. DRUIDAWN HIGH SEAS ADVENTURE

Great for new students and established students alike! Write and read stories about pirates, sea monsters, merfolk and other wonders of the deep.  Have a chance to create your own island to add to the world of Druidawn! Includes all of our students' favorite activities like Auction, Speculation, and unique rewards.

6) July 6-10, 12:30-3:00 Mountain Time - Ages 10+      COST 175.00

ACTION AND THRILLS

A week of action and suspense where we practice writing suspenseful stories, play a mini-quest set in a spooky setting, and learn the tricks of writing good action scenes.​ Great for kids who write independently and want to improve their techniques.

9) July 20-24, 12:00-3:00 Mountain Time - Ages 13+     

YOUNG ADULT WRITERS

COST: 200.00  Scholarship funding may be available for mature, motivated writers who apply.

This workshop is geared toward self-motivated writers who want to better their work and who have goals of publishing some time in the future. Includes writing time, sharing and critique, deep discussions and debate, writing lectures, character interviews, world building and gaming.

10) July 27-31, 9:30-12:00 Mountain Time - Ages 7-10       COST: 175.00   

SPECTRA PRIME

A science-fiction based workshop where we design alien races, spaceships, high-tech weapons, practice gaming on an alien world, and work together on developing the game rules for this new science fiction version of Druidawn called Spectra Prime.

11) July 27-31, 12:30-3:00 Mountain Time - Ages 10+       COST: 175.00    NOW FULL!
